How our warranty works
Every new product sold by Qabassat Computers is covered by a manufacturer warranty that we administer ourselves — you don't ship to a remote RMA centre and wait weeks for a response. You bring it (or send it) to us, and we handle it from there.
If the manufacturer covers it, you don't pay. If the manufacturer doesn't, we give you a transparent repair quote before any work begins.
Standard warranty periods
Warranty length depends on the manufacturer. Typical periods:
- Laptops & desktops: 12 months (some brands 24 months)
- Monitors: 24 months
- Components (CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD): 24–60 months
- Peripherals (keyboards, mice, headsets): 12 months
- Printers: 12 months (excluding consumables)
- Batteries & power adapters: 6–12 months
The exact period for your specific product is shown on the product page and on the warranty card included with your purchase.
What's covered
The warranty covers manufacturing defects:
- Failure of components that should not have failed in normal use
- Dead pixels above the manufacturer's threshold
- Premature battery failure
- Firmware or build-quality issues
What's not covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Liquid damage, drops, or other accidental damage
- Damage from unauthorized repair or modification
- Cosmetic wear and tear
- Consumables (ink, toner, paper, thermal paste)
- Theft, loss, or fire
For accidental damage, our hardware repair team can give you a no-obligation quote.
